Whatever Next by Jill Murphy
This week Baby Bear invited us on his journey to visit the moon. Having found a box, a colander and a pair of wellies hidden in our Storybox, we were ready for the off!
Using our Jolly Phonics knowledge we wrote a list of all the equipment we would need for the adventure and learned to recite our numbers backwards from 5, 10 and 20 al the way to 0! BLAST OFF!
The number rhyme 5 Little Men in a Flying Saucer is a great way to learn how to count back from any number - just change the rhyme from 5, to 10 or even 20.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
