This week the children have continued their immersion in the story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'. They have used descriptive language to describe each of the settings and have written sentences to retell the story.
In their maths the children have been introduced to estimation. They had fun estimating how many cubes were in the jar and then counting the actual amount. During outdoor learning they used their physical skills to estimate how many times they could throw a beanbag into a bucket.
The children really enjoyed celebrating World Book Day. They engaged in lots of fun activities and took part in an author zoom based on the book 'This is Me'.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
