This week the whole school have been celebrating Science Week and taking part in lots of different STEM activities. On Tuesday we enjoyed a visit from Aqualease who brought two rock pools that contained a variety of different sea creatures. We learned lots of new facts and were even allowed to hold some of the animals.
Alongside other exciting events we began a new topic in Maths focusing on measurement. We discussed the difference between measuring the height and the length and we identified how to measure in the most accurate way.
As part of our 3D paper sculpture topic in art, we created a spider from newspaper taking inspiration from Louise Bourgeois 1999 spider sculpture.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
