Year One have really enjoyed the book Cops and Robbers this week and used this book to create fantastic character descriptions and wanted posters.
In maths we have continued to look at addition fact families and worked hard on our number bonds within and to 10.
In art we have continued to look at lines focusing specifically on wavy lines. We discussed how wavy lines can be used to represent the sea and we created fantastic collaborative pieces of art using wavy lines and colour. We listened to Debussy's La Mer to inspire our creations.
In music we had fun creating our own marching music using a variety of tuned and untuned instruments ensuring we kept to the beat of the march.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
