Jack and the Beanstalk
This week the children shared the text 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. They enjoyed retelling the story and talked about what else they might find at the top of the beanstalk! They used story language and sequencing words to write the story.
The children have learnt about the growth of plants. They have learnt what a plant needs to grow and have planted their own seeds to look after.
In maths the children have been introduced to subtraction, they have used tens frames to practically 'take away' and have written number sentences to match.
