World Book Day
This week the children have continued their immersion in the story 'Tadpole's Promise'.
In Jolly Phonics the children learnt the 'long vowel i' family tree consisting of diagraph ie, split diagraph i_e, trigragh igh and y making the ie sound
Jolly Phonics Tricky Words - when, what, why
The children had their second drama workshop. This workshop the children acted out different insects. Some insects were burrowing into the soil and some were crawling on land.
The children really enjoyed celebrating World Book Day. They engaged in lots of fun activities and took part in an author zoom based on the book 'I'm not sleepy'.
