What the Ladybird Heard at the Seaside
This week the children shared the text 'What the Ladybird Heard at the Seaside'. They identified rhyming words and sentences to describe the seaside. The children identified features of the beach and made class lists of natural and man-made objects.
In maths the children have been introduced to halving as sharing equally between two. They have practically halved objects and have begun to understand the halving of numbers.
The children enjoyed a fantastic day out at the beach! They played in the sand and had a picnic on the hill overlooking the 'Iron Men'. The weather was amazing as were our fantastic children. We are very proud of them!
