Showing off our fabulous Maths skills! - September 2022

We've all had another fun week in Year Two! In Literacy, we have started immersing ourselves in the book, On The Way Home. We have enjoyed discussing all the different characters. 

In Maths, we have moved onto addition and subtraction. Our children have been showing off their fabulous skills from Year One, and today we looked at bonds within ten. We used concrete resources, such as the counters, to make different numbers, and show the bonds for each.
