Traditional Tales
This week the children shared their holiday news. They used home/school diaries to talk about what they had done and where they had been. The children wrote their news focusing on using time language to sequence their events. This week the children have been introduced to our topic 'Traditional Tales' they have shared some stories in their class and have been introduced to the new areas of the classroom, these include; Aladdin's Cave; Sleeping Beauty's Castle; The Three Bears Cottage; Little Pig Construction Site.
In Maths the children have been introduced to numerals 11, 12. The have used numicon and tens frames to manipulate patterns and identify number bonds.
