Lost and Found

Oliver Jeffers story, 'Lost and Found' was a great way to explore Antarctica and it's frozen environment.  We learnt lots of fascinating facts about Antarctica and how 'extreme' the weather is!  We looked at the properties of ice - freezing and melting.

In maths we have continued to work on our addition skills - adding within 5 and 10 and sometimes beyond.  

We also had a visit from Network Rail to talk about Railway Safety.  Living near 2 railway lines it's important for us to understand we must NEVER go on the tracks!!
