We have had a fabulous first week back after the Christmas break! In Literacy we have been learning all about The Titanic and its significance. In Maths we have been working on money, money, money! We have been able to recognise and use coins and notes to make amounts.
In History we have been learning about The Wright Brothers and their first flight; we acted out this event in our classes! In Science we are working on improving our knowledge of plants. This week we discussed what our very own runner beans would need to germinate and grow. We’ve planted three beans and placed them in pots in different parts of our classroom, some without light and some without water! We are going to check on these throughout the half term!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
