Here are pictures of our class as our children will find it during those important first days. These pictures allow our families to tour our room and will help jog our children's memories hopefully allowing them to share their thoughts on their new class.
You can see we have numerous reading areas for our children to enjoy. We read at our desks, in cosy nooks, in our reading garden and allow ourselves to drift away in adventures when we are read to.
You may see Marcel our mathematical monkey hanging around in our Maths Area. He watches the children as they make mathematical discoveries.
This half term we look at maps, our local area and the UK as a whole as we name the capitals of the UK. As you can see our roleplay is a travel agent. Our children can book exciting trips for their friends and hopefully share their adventures as they travel to school, visit Liverpool's coastline and share any visits they have enjoyed to different places.
Our Science topic this half term is ourselves. Our children will think about how they have grew from babies, how their senses can tell them about their world around them and all about our amazing skeletons.
You may notice we have lots of vocabulary on our walls which will remain as our children grow and develop within each topic.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
