This week we have continued to work on the book The Magic Paintbrush by Julia Donaldson and we wrote our own stories that changed some of the key elements of the original text.
In maths we have continued to work on Place Value up to 50 comparing numbers and deciding whether numbers are greater than, less than or equal to others. We focused on the mathematical symbols < > =.
In dance we have begun our Folk Music From Around the World topic. This week we listened to British folk music and explored simple dance movements to accompany it. We walked in and out of all the spaces and played follow-my-leader taking turns to lead the group line using different steps and pathways.
In Geography we used a map of our local area to label the human and physical features and create a key to our map.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
