What a fantastic week! We are so proud of how well the children have settled into school life. They have explored the classroom and begun to follow the routines of the day. They have made lovely friendships and have particularly enjoyed the outdoor areas. This week the children have begun to learn the rules of writing a sentence. They have used finger spaces and have begun to join letters together to make works. The children have also been introduced to the tricky word 'I' and have used this in their sentence writing.
In maths the children have developed skills in counting and number recognition.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
