This week we have been working on our observation drawing skills! We brought soft toys in from home, and worked on using some of the techniques we had picked up from our previous Art lessons. We used HB pencils to sketch the outline of our toys, before using our pencil to add texture to our drawings!
In Literacy, we have started looking at the book ‘The Wonder’ by Faye Hanson, and we have used drama to re-tell the story. In Maths, we have been comparing and ordering numbers, and in Science we have been looking at different habitats. In our History lesson this week, we looked at a classroom from the 1900s and thought about what it would be like to learn in such a different room!
