Our First Week!
We are so proud of all the children in Reception! They have settled really well and have begun to make some great friendships. They have responded well to our school rules and routines and have had lots of fun exploring the classroom! The children this week began learning 'Jolly Phonics.' They learnt the sounds and the actions for the letter shapes s, a, t, please reinforce these with your child at home. The children developed their counting skills and recognition of numerals. The children also had a visit from a road safety expert that taught them about crossing roads and travelling in cars safely.
