This week the children shared the text 'The Pirates Next Door'. They identified and compared language used to describe the pirates at the beginning and end of the story. They did display writing for our classroom recognising lots of pirate facts.
During our Understanding the World lessons this week the children learnt all about pirates and famous pirates from the past.
In maths the children expanded their learning on sharing and grouping, odd and even numbers and doubling.
The children have been developing their knowledge of pirate language and have been using this in their narrative in both the role play and small world areas.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
