Sandwich Making - October 2023
Year One have enjoyed a delicious week creating our favourite sandwich recipes and even making our very own jam sandwiches. Lots of us wanted to include a variety of ingredients in our sandwiches and we really enjoyed thinking about strange sandwich combinations.
In maths we have continued to look at part whole models and related addition fact families.
In science we finished our investigations into our five senses, focusing on touch and smell. Lots of us thought the blue cheese smell was rather disgusting!
We enjoyed our first DT lesson looking at mechanisms and created a street scene with a moveable car using a slider.
