We have really enjoyed starting our new topic today, Coding.
A code tells a computer what action to take. At first we had a go practically using myself and some children in our class and the class gave instructions of how to get about e.g. Can you help Miss Tennant get from the front of the room to the water bottles. The children responded with "turn right and take 5 steps", "now turn left and take 8 steps".
The children loved this task and then went on to do another coding activity in their table groups, this was very successful.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
