February 2022 - Grouping Animals By Body Parts
Today we worked practically as a class and grouped model animals according to which body parts they had in common. We had some very interesting discussion about why the animals had adapted to have those particular body parts and how they use them to help them survive.
Eg a lion is a mammal, a carnivore and uses its claws to tear meat and to attack and defend. A tortoise is a reptile, a herbivore and uses its claws to help it dig.
