Superworm
This week the children shared the text 'Superworm.' They discussed the story and were introduced to and identified rhyming words and patterns. They wrote sentences from the story and used their creative skills to paint pictures of Superworm.
In maths this week the children have built towers to represent taller and smaller, they have added and taken away objects using the terminolgy more, fewer and fewest.
This week the children also learnt about 'Superhero Materials.' They experimented with different textures and learnt about the properties of materials. They used their knowledge to build 'Material Monsters!'
