The Very Hungry Caterpillar

This week the children shared the text 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. They learnt about the life cycle of a caterpillar and wrote captions and labels to enhance images. The children have been observing their own real life caterpillars and have been recording the changes that they see.

In maths this week the children have been developing their recognition of repeating patterns and their knowledge of 3D shapes.

This week the children had a fantastic visit to Croxteth Farm Park. The children took part in pony grooming, animal feeding and pet handling. They all had a fantastic day out and we are so proud of them!
