We cannot believe we only have a few weeks left in Year One!
This week we have continued to work on the book Journey and created a wonderful narrative to fit the story. In maths we have worked on our money skills, identifying and counting different coins and notes. In science we used our investigative skills to create a waterproof home using only natural materials. In history we investigated the life of the amazing explorer Matthew Henson and his achievements.
We had a super day out to Knowsley Safari Park on Wednesday. We were lucky enough to see meerkats, giraffes, tigers and rhinos amongst other animals. We all really enjoyed the sealion show, especially watching Roger perform his amazing stunts!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
