Chinese New Year - February 2022

Xīn Nián Kuài Lè

 

Today we celebrated Chinese New Year and had a visit from some very special people, lions and even a dragon!

 

The performers from Liverpool Hung Gar Kung Fu performed the Lion Dance for us and and we had great fun watching the cheeky lions waking up Buddha, dancing and even throwing lettuce at us for good luck.

 

After the amazing performance we enjoyed some Chinese food back in the classroom.
