Commotion in the Ocean
This week the children shared the text 'Commotion in the Ocean.' They identified rhyming words and talked about the various sea creatures. The children learned about the five Oceans and even sang a catchy rhyme to help them remember the names! They used the globe and World map to identify the position of each Ocean and in their writing wrote facts about them.
In maths the children have been learning about the composition of 6, 7, 8. They have used tens frames to identify number patterns and write corresponding number sentences.
In our Creative area we used junk modelling to design and create models that reflected some of 'The Wonders of the World.'
