In literacy this week we have been looking at diaries and their key features. We created our own diary linked to our current text Clean Up by Nathan Bryon and Dapa Adeola.
In maths we have been looking at addition within 20 including doubles and near doubles. In computing we used our planned sequence to help us build our rocket then launched them to see which rocket flew the furthest. We used the the trundle wheels to measure how far they had flown and recorded the information on a spreadsheet.
In DT we are continuing our topic linked to smoothie making. This week we focused on our knife skills and learned how to juice a variety of citrus fruits. After we had cut and juiced we had the opportunity to sample some of the fruits. The lemons were very sour!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
