Party Time! - July 2024
It has been such an exciting week in Year One as we head towards the end of the school year.
In literacy we continued to look at The Boy Who Sailed The World and used this text to help us create a diary entry for the boy sailor. We discussed the key features of a diary and the main purposes for keeping a diary.
In maths we continued to look at time and we are now really good at identifying when it is o clock and half past on the classroom clock.
In history we revisited the explorers Christopher Columbus and Matthew Henson and created shields that contained important elements of their journey.
We had great fun at the end of year party and enjoyed showing off our best dance moves!
