Once again Booker Infants is taking part in WWF Earth Hour. At 8.30pm on 23 March hundreds of millions of people will turn off their lights for one hour, on the same night, all across the world in a huge, symbolic show of support. It’s always a memorable and spectacular event with places from New York to New Delhi going dark for the hour. As we are not in school on this day we will be celebrating this special event by wearing bright clothes to school on Friday 22nd March. The children will have learnt about Earth Hour in assembly and how they can get involved by turning off lights at home on Saturday. Have a look at the WWF website and find our school on the interactive Earth Hour map.
