It was lovely to see everyone back after the Easter break full of energy and ready to learn.
This week we began our new book, Little Red Riding Hood which many of us knew, but not all of us knew this version. We had fun retelling the story through drama and created some fantastic character descriptions.
We began our history topic of toys through the ages this week. We enjoyed discussing our own toys and sharing our own personal histories with them. We then created fantastic sketches of teddy bears for the classroom display. We focused on proportion, shape and shading which helped us create fantastic drawings that we are all very proud of.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
