We have had such a busy start to this year and this week has been no exception.
In literacy we have been looking at the book Here We Are by Oliver Jeffers. It inspired us to create our first non-fiction fact file that included lots of animal facts. We really enjoyed researching facts about animals and the planet.
In maths we have been looking at addition within 20 using tens frames and number lines to support our calculations.
In science we asked the questions 'Do the people with the biggest hands have the biggest feet?' We compared our shoe sizes and measured our hands using cubes. We put all of our 'data' in a table and used this information to answer the question. We were surprised to find that some people with the smallest hands had the largest feet!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
