Our topic this half term is Journeys. We began the wordless picture book Journey by Aaron Becker and enjoyed discussing how we understood the story without being able to read any words. We created our own wordless journey story focusing on the moment we wake up until the moment we get to school. 

In maths we have been investigating fractions of shapes and amounts.

We began our explorer topic in history this week and focused on the timeline of events for Dame Ellen MacArthur, Matthew Henson, Mary Kingsley and Christopher Columbus. 

In dance we journeyed to South America and enjoyed listening to, and taking part in, some samba dancing.
