Pizzas - May 2025
We have had such an exciting week here in Year One!
We have carried on looking at Little Red Riding Hood this week and we decided that Red should take something tasty to Grandma's house rather than a boring sandwich. We agreed that pizza would make a nice change so we wrote a shopping list of ingredients that we would need and then headed off to our local shop to buy our ingredients. The next day we looked carefully at recipes then made our own pizzas. We had great fun spreading the passata on our wraps and sprinkling cheese on the top but we enjoyed eating them even more!
As part of our history topic on toys from the past, we invited Mrs Fanning in to talk about toys from hers and her parent's childhood. Mrs Fanning brought in some toys and books, some of which were nearly one hundred years old!
