We have had such an exciting week in Year One including our exciting trip to Formby Beach.

We began our trip by visiting the nearby woods and having an outdoor science lesson learning about the difference between deciduous and evergreen trees. We studied and sketched the leaves from different trees and were able to identify which were deciduous and which were evergreen according to the leaf shape.

After a well deserved lunch break we all headed for the beach and had a great time digging holes in the sand , creating sand mountains or finding lots of different shells.
