This week we have started our topic of measurement in maths. We focused on the difference between length and height ensuring we used the vocabulary of longer and shorter or taller and shorter. We measured a variety of objects carefully using non-standard units such as cubes, paperclips and counters.

In geography we created our own maps of the local area including human and physical features such as the Co-op, the Greenhills and the Heron Eccles field.

We had a fantastic time on World Book Day celebrating our love for reading. We designed our own bookmarks and created book covers which included an eye catching front page and detailed blurb on the back. We even made sure we included a bar code.
