In literacy this week we have been enjoying the book Peace at Last by Jill Murphy. We made some fantastic predictions surrounding what might happen next for Daddy Bear.
In maths we compared numbers within 10, focusing on key language such as more than, less than and equal to. We were then introduced to the mathematical symbols < > =.
In science we investigated deciduous trees and their seasonal cycles. We discussed the trees we have seen in the park or our own gardens.
In music we enjoyed learning about marching bands and used untuned percussion instruments to march along in time to the music.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
