This morning we launched National Mental Health Week with a Wacky Workout in our Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Assembly. The theme this year is 'Movement' and we talked about how movement can improve our mood.
You can use this link https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/moodboosters/articles/z24xnk7 to do the Wacky Workout at home with your family!
We also discussed again how talking to someone when you're sad or worried is so important. Children are much better at this than adults!
Around the big yard there are 16 'Conversation Starters' that can be used as starting points to conversations around Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing - have a look when you collect your child at the end of the day.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
