You may be aware that the Highway Code was amended last year to protect vulnerable road users. This includes amongst others, drivers waiting to allow pedestrians to cross road junctions before making their turning manoeuvre.
We all know the difficulties pedestrians and cyclists have on the roads, especially when travelling to school, so Brake have produced a short video that highlights the changes.

Today our School Nutrition Action Group (SNAG) visited Mr Rob in the kitchen at the end of his first full week. They talked to him about the meals they had enjoyed and some other things they would like to have - including ketchup with the fish and chips on a Friday!
The SNAG Team presented Mr Rob with a Headteacher's Award which he put on his apron! They plan to meet with him each half term to discuss the menus and any special events coming up.
