This week the children used a range of non-fiction texts and interactive power points to learn more information about space. The focus this week was on the moon. The children learned about Apollo 11 and its historical mission to the moon. They wrote sentences that focused on key space vocabulary and that also reflected their knew knowledge of the digraph 'oo'.
In maths this week the children used an analogue clock to identify numbers and their pattern. They looked at the shape of the clock and used the classroom environment to find and compare similar shapes.
On Friday the children supported 'Children in Need.' They made Pudsey Bear masks and decorated Pudsey pictures!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
