Welcome to the Year One Curriculum Page!

This will give you a flavour of all the exciting things we plan to cover in a year.  
Our planning is centred around our Literacy-led curriculum, and although this is in place, sometimes our children will have particular interests of their own and our planning will always reflect this. We aim to develop 'word-rich' children through our curriculum, and we ensure our planning provides opportunities to motivate and challenge every child.

We believe that children learn best when they enjoy their learning,  so children in year 1 will always experience a great deal of fun and learning with enjoyment.
