    Thanks for stopping by!

    Useful information:

    • P.E is on a Thursday, please ensure your child comes to school in their kit.
    • The children partake in regular outdoor activities (please send in a pair of named wellies for us to keep in school if you have not already done so.)
    • Water bottles need to be brought to school every day. Your child is encouraged to drink regular water throughout the day.
    • Book bags need to be brought to school on a Monday, they will remain in school during the week and will go home on a Friday.
    • Spanish is on Wednesday.
    • A coat must be brought to school everyday. Please practice fastening zips and buttons, to enable your child to manage this independently.

    Jolly Phonics:

Each week the children will learn new letter shapes and their sounds. They will learn an action and a song to help them recall each sound. The sounds we learn will be sent home as we learn them, please reinforce these with your child. To help understand how we teach phonics in school we have put some useful, instructional videos on our webpage under the heading 'Reading at Booker!' and on the link below.
