    • Look at the picture (see link one) and discuss these three activities with a family member.
        • Role play the conversation you might have with the octopus.
        • You can only ask the Octopus three questions. What would they be?
        • You decide to let the octopus stay, but the next morning you come into your kitchen to find it has been joined by another creature. What might it be?

    Words of the Week

    Word: energetic (adjective)

    Definition: having or showing the ability to be active.                                                                                                                 

    The boys are energetic players.

    Synonym: active, lively, spirited

    Antonym: dull, lazy, tired

    Word: expert (adjective)

    Definition: An expert is someone who is very skilled at doing something or who knows a lot about a particular subject.

    The children were computer experts.

    Synonym: specialist.

    Antonym: amateur.

    Challenge: Can you write a sentence for each of the words. Can you find these words in any books you might have at home?
