This half term, our topic is 'Fantasy and Fire', and in order to immerse ourselves in this, we studied dragon eyes! We started by sketching some different designs, using our skills from last half term's Art lessons. We then discussed the colours we could see, and designed our fabulous pictures - which are now on display in our classrooms!

In Literacy, we started looking at the text, Dragon Post, and in Maths we have continued with addition and subtraction. We have been subtracting across a ten, and have even started adding two 2-digit numbers with our secure knowledge of tens and ones! In Science we have been looking at materials, and we have also started thinking about hot and cold places in Geography!
