This week the children have been learning facts about space. They have shared the text 'Whatever Next' and talked about what it would be like to visit the moon. In their writing they have used their phonic knowledge to write sentences about the text.
In maths this week the children have been measuring lengths using cubes. They have used mathematical terminology linked to measuring.
The children have used their knowledge of space to become 'astronauts' in the role play area. They have developed narratives around the topic and have used extended vocabulary.
