This week the children have been learning about the 5 senses. In music they have used their listening sense to explore the different sounds that can be made using percussion instruments. They used their touch sense to identify objects hidden in feely bags and they used their sense of smell to explore smell pots. The children also enjoyed using their taste sense this week to taste a range of flavours!
In writing this week the children have written sentences focusing on what they can see. They have continued to develop their spelling of tricky words.
The maths focus has been on adding 1 more than a given number. The children have been introduced to and have begun to write number sentences using + and = symbols.
