This week in science we discussed the importance of hygiene. With this in mind we completed an exciting experiment.
We used three slices of bread, we touched a slice using our clean hands, dirty hands and a piece we didn't touch at all. We placed each slice in a sandwich bag and are observing daily to find out the results of prediction.
Keep an eye out for our results.
The results are in and the children's prediction was correct. The slice of bread that had been handled with dirty hands had the most mould and the slice that wasn't touched at all had the least.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
