On a dark, dark night, in a dark, dark town, on a dark, dark street, in a dark, dark house, down the dark, dark stairs, in a dark, dark cellar there lived not one, not two, but three skeletons.
Big Bones, Small Bones and Dog Bones helped us discover the parts of our body that are hidden beneath our skin. In fact, it turns out that without our skeleton our bodies would simply behave like wibbly, wobbly jelly!
Using our letters and sounds knowledge we labelled our skeletons, breaking down each word into their sounds h-i-p, r-i-b and b-a-ck.
We had lots of fun baking and icing our very own gingerbread skeletons!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
