This week the children have been learning about their 5 senses. They have talked about them and used their senses to explore the world around them . On Thursday the children were very excited to go on an Autumn Welly Walk! They looked for signs of Autumn and collected natural resources that they brought to share in our interest tower.
The children have continued to develop their writing skills. They have used word cards to construct and write sentences about the story 'Superworm.' They are also developing their recognition of reading high frequency words.
In their maths the children have been identifying and making repeated patterns. They made fruit kebabs and Superworms to help them develop these skills.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
