This week RJ went on an Autumn walk to look for signs of the season. They used their senses to explore the outdoor environment and collected natural resources to add to the interest tower. The children then used their investigating skills to study what they had found.
In their maths this week the focus has been on recognition of 2D shapes. The children have created pictures and constructed models using their knowledge of the shapes.
In the writing area the children have continued to develop their skills in sentence writing. They have used word cards to build sentences and have developed their recognition and spelling of key words- I, go, to, the. Please reinforce these at home.
If you are out and about at the weekend please encourage the children to collect any natural resources to add to our interest tower. Thank you.
