In Science this week we talked about different habitats, and the habitats we have for different animals and creatures in our local area. We looked at Woodlice and where we would find them.
For our experiment, we made a habitat tray, which included a dark dry corner, a dark damp corner, a light dry corner and a light damp corner. We went to the playground on a woodlice hunt and found lots in different places. We then put them into the habitat tray and predicted where we thought they would go.
Our result was that the woodlice we collected preferred the dark and damp corner!
