Peace at Last by Jill Murphy, brought to life by Simple Stories
We opened the week with poor Mr. Bear whose sense of hearing was overwhelmed. But what sounds did he hear as he moved from room to room to escape Mrs Bear's snoring? By Thursday we were ready to follow Mr Bears footprints heading into Mr Bears garden.
There were lots of noises to be heard - from aeroplanes, to the birds singing and the crunch of autumn leaves under foot. Poor Mr. Bear simply wouldn't get any sleep!
In number we have been exploring pattern. We had lots of fun creating edible bracelets using our knowledge of repeating patterns. A tasty treat and a great way to finish off our topic of ourselves and our senses.
